This upcoming film is definitely one that you must watch.
Everybody loves a good South African film and with the success of the 1992 movie, Sarafina!,2010's Spud and many more, the South African film industry had rocketed.
A movie to look forward to is Ayanda and The Mechanic. The coming of age film, set in a culturally diverse community shows 21 year old Ayanda, played by Fulu Mugovahni who is trying to find herself whilst lost in the memory of her late father. It seems as if her life is revolving around the car garage that she works in, which is the same garage her father passed away in. Unhappy with the path she's walking on, she tries to free herself from the masculine-dominant environment and combat gender stereotyping she falls in love.
This movie looks inspiring and is a representation of South Africa's modern-day society, but the transparency of the storyline makes it engaging.
It's coming out on October 2nd 2015 but it's already out in the USA! Take note in your calendars, guys!
